This 4 bedroom Holiday Home which sleeps 8 (plus 1 baby) is perfect for a relaxing holiday in the most amazing surroundings – The parents and kids alike will enjoy the beautiful fenced garden which benefits from some swings for the children and plenty of shade for those hot summer days. Spring flowers such as primroses, cowslips and mayflowers grow naturally. Red squirrels have been known to visit the garden.

For those who like a little more action, the surrounding area offers a vast array of activities including golfing, cycling, horse riding or walking through the many forests, mountains and volcanoes, swimming or Water sports in the many magnificent lakes, or fishing in the many rivers. Why not visit one of the spas, outdoor pursuit centres, zoo and many amazing historic towns and villages including Vichy Le Puy en Valey, and Clermont Ferrand.

If you choose to visit in the Winter months you have a family ski resort 20 minutes away and a bigger ski resort (over 80km of piste) within an hour and half’s drive – cross country skiing and snow walking is a common pursuit in this area (see Links and Attractions for more information).

The closest town is the historic Ambert, famed for its papermaking. Only 10km away, it has all the facilities you’ll need including restaurants, bars, supermarkets, outdoor market (Thursdays), trains and tourist train, a huge park with a fantastic play area and lake with a beach which in the summer months is used for swimming and boat hire. There is also a campsite with a Water Park including slides.
